The night turned chill all so sudden. It could be argued that it was arguably so only close to the house.

People drifted by, driving in their cars, not realizing how close to actual terror they were and what could happen if they indeed did have to face it. In case.

This one guy knew. He did care. At least did not seem to. He drove on. Towards the valley. The head lights on the rusty Corolla flickered.

Battery Issues. He thought turning the car off the highway and onto the narrow lane next to the pine tree, bringing it to stop under it.

Boy, was he wrong!
