I believe you are correct, @truthforce. I say this because the face value of posts is in flux for seven days until it matures. 100% of the reward pool will empty daily based on the rshares assigned in upvotes (none of it carries over to the next day). Instead of downvoting overrewarded posts based on a singular subjective opinion, people can upvote under-rewarded posts. And this makes the pie smaller for the overrewarded posts. Not to mention, if people acted like this, we'd have a lot fewer problems in the user retention department.
