Adrenaline by
@snook
Adrenaline.
The quiet of the mind.
So many thoughts tumbling around inside.
Thoughts go fleeting by. You glance at each one, shaking your head. Each needs attention yet also energy. The energy which is in short supply.
Time to spend by
@galenkp
I'm often amazed at the way people spend time; I mean what they do with their allotted time and how wasteful some are with it. It seems to be those who have not realised how precious it is, how easily it can be snatched away, and how terrible the regret that comes from understanding their time was unwisely and unproductively is that are most callous with time, one of the most precious commodities a human being has.
Be embraced by
@becca-mac
It's where I find peace, a better version of myself, distance from the pressures of life and time to think. The forest, local gardens, the beach...places where birds sing as they flit from branch to branch; it makes me wish I was one of them, their lives seem so uncomplicated and being able to fly would be amazing.
The People That Love Us The Most by
@funshee
If I love you, why would I want to accept less from you when I know you can offer more? I used to tell my siblings and friends that because I pushed them hard, I kick their ass and want more from them only means I care about them, I know they can be more, and I will make sure they realize it. Because I see them more than they see themselves sometimes, I have to push them until they see themselves as they should.
Therapeutic Rain by
@penflecto
Back on my younger days I used to hate rains just like every child because it is one of the main reason that stops me from playing outside. Whenever it rains my mother forbids me from going outside due to the fever that I might catch and I often reply that I can’t have a fever when I’m wearing a raincoat or an umbrella on my head but still it did not convinced her...
My Diary: December 10 2023 by
@palomap3
It turns out that I had not been able to do my daily stoic reflection for several days in a row. In Spain today is the end of a long long weekend that began on Wednesday, which for me, accustomed to my routines, has meant being disoriented and disoriented, consuming my energy and attention required to do my daily tasks.
We can always try again. by
@lara-bee
I noticed a few things happening around me and don't know if it's happening like that with a lot of people than I know. A lot of people around me are complaining bitterly about not achieving everything they wanted in this year and it sounds as if they are preparing for the end of their lives and not the end of the year. I was once like that but everything changed and I developed a new perspective about setting new year resolutions.
In The End, No Point Is Made. by
@wongi
It really baffles me as to why the majority of the people in the world would rather settle differences with physical blows and punches instead of amiable or mediated discussions. There are certain situations I have analysed and concluded that a simple remorseful gesture or a little communication would have gone a long way.
Patience but only Patience by
@mrnightmare89
Attitude is very hard to control but it doesn't mean it's uncontrollable. Even though we are doing our very best not to let it out the real attitude inside. It's hard not to when we are angry, disappointed and embarrassed. We can not evade getting wild sometimes because you know as what they said, "My attitude depends on yours." Where it's undeniably true since we only answer the questions of others.
