summer nights in Canada

Summer is quickly approaching the beautiful place I have called home for almost the last decade. The west coast of Canada - Vancouver Island. It is a stunning place like no other I have encountered in my travels thus far. However, it will always hold special to me for the rest of my days.

This shot was one around the northern end of Vancouver Island, when I was on a sailing expedition with a company out of Vancouver. It was an eye opening experience in how other operators run their trips. Regardless, of the length of time I was working for this company I took away a lot of valuable lessons that I will carry with me moving forward.

However, the time was just long enough to experience moments like this and the time to get my camera out in an attempt to capture such times for future reminiscing of the places I have been.
