You can never take enough photos of the Antarctic Peninsula when the sun is out and even when the sun is hiding behind the clouds as well. However, there is something a bit more magical about this area when you have a sunny sky and not a breath of wind. It definitely makes you sit back and appreciate the fact of where you are in that present moment, it also makes me think about the early historical explorers that ventured down this way to explore and map this region.
I have no doubt it is those sunny days that really made those historical explorers want to keep coming back down time after time, as it becomes nothing short of an addictive feeling you experience. Either way, I do wish that more days like this would happen more frequently whilst I am down in this region guiding people around the world. However, I should mention that those less than desirable days do make these sunny days more special, especially, when you know just how bad/rough weather conditions can get down on the Antarctic Peninsula.
