Grizzly bears are amazing creatures to observe in the wild. I have spent some time with them over the last few years on the west coast of Canada in the Great Bear Rainforest. In this area there are numerous salmon spawning rivers that Grizzly bears frequent in order to forage on the salmon in these rivers.

Most of the time they are pretty chill and it is very easy to interact/observe them without any incident, as long as you behave in an bear friendly and appropriate manner. The result can be nothing short of breath taking, as you watch a massive wild animal grabbing salmon after salmon and easily tearing it to shreds.
