These little fellows are adorable and mesmerizing to watch anytime of the day. A random and interesting fact about these guys is that they quite easily overheat constantly, which can be a huge problem for them. So a physical mechanism that they have is along their flippers/wings, which helps them cool down. You can see how the inside of their flipper/wing is quite pink that is a membrane where they can dumb their excess heat and let the cool climate take it away from them.
An awesome little adaptation these animals have made to not only live but thrive in the polar regions. Also, a main reason their are on penguins in the northern hemisphere is because they couldn't survive the swim through the tropics because they would overheat whilst doing so.
