The view on some remote beaches on the sub-antarctic islands are intense! At times, quite hard to actually land on as well, due to the fact they are so incredibly crowded with 100's of 1,000's of animals just going about their daily life. it makes it even more difficult when those animals are 3 tonne Elephant seals in their breeding mode, which can be pretty aggressive and you don't want to find yourself in between two competing male elephant seals.
I was blown away by this little view though, with a male beach master attending to his harem of females with a back drop of a few thousand King Penguins, along with some fluffy brown chicks in amongst them. South Georgia really turned it up for us whilst we explored this harsh, wild island these past 4 days with weather good enough to land on some of the exposed beaches and even the sun came out a few times to simply ensure my mind was truly blown.
