The First Ever Hive Ghana Meetup in Tamale happened! Better Late Than Not Classy!!!

Warm greetings to you all in this community.
My name is Native Boy, I’m a new comer in this blockchain, I live in Tamale and I was one of the 14 dudes that made it to the first ever Hive Ghana meetup in Tamale. The event happened on 28/01/23.

I was invited to this meetup by my good friend @depressedfuckup. When I was praying to God to help me locate my helper I’m this 2023, I didn’t know it was going to be some little skinny dude whom I already know. Honestly, one the few days of this new year, Zolo has helped me a lot and if I want to mention all the things that he has helped me accomplished, myself and you would not be able to count all

Myself and Zolo were the first to arrive at the venue. The event was scheduled to commence at 9:00am but fellow Ghanians, the almighty Ghanaian time that we all know called and we couldn’t help but answer. But that was not the important thing, the organizers planned to hold the event for at least three hours and it happened. Even though we all weren’t punctual with the time, we still managed it effectively.

As a new comer oh Hive and as a slow leaner, I was very intentional about this program. I came to learn, network, get a free souvenir and eat.

@depressedfuckup and @samed10 were the moderators of the program. I had no doubt that Zolo was going to deliver marvelously but Samed, I was only seeing him for the first and I wasn’t really sure if I should trust him or not. Dude pulled up at the event late and as if that was not enough, he had our refreshments with him. Guy literally played with our stomachs 😭.

Anyway after listening to @samed10 for only some few minutes I immediately forgot about everything that happened earlier. I literally said the popular Shak Oniel apology in my hear “Forgive me lad, I wasn’t familiar with your game”. @Samed10, guy you’re an excellent orienter, believe me. (ask around, I don’t tell lies on sundays👍🏿).

What I learned during the meetup

Avoid Plagiarism. Plagiarism in simple terms is stealing content. Whether intentional or not avoid plagiarism. We are all aware that content is scarce these days so please, unless you’re ready to exchange your destiny with goats own, don’t steal content on this platform. If you refuse and thief anyone’s content and try to play smart, they’ll flog you out of here like the thief you really are. And those thinking that they can use AI to generate content and post here, @depressedfuckup would like to remind you that plagiarism koti of this blockchain are a group of very intelligent developers. Even chat gpt Dey learn from them.

Read a community rules before you post content in the community. No one on this platform is against anyone. This is decentralized community and no one wants to restrict you from posting any form of genuine content. But please there are communities here and each community has a set of unique rules. Read and comprehend community rules before you share your contents there. If you want to show that you are from the family of stupidities and head of coconuties and you go and post your rubbish in any community where it’s not relevant, they’ll show that the community is not a dustbin. They’ll blacklist your stupid black ass immediately. Don’t say no one warned you!!!

They mentioned other important stuffs about this platform but these two points were the most emphasized ones. If you’re a new comer in this community like myself, I’ll advise you to take those two very serious. It’s not difficult. You listen to Kumasi people speak English every day and you survive it.

The program ended on a very positive note. The snacks were giving, the souvenirs were dope and the pictures banged! I made strong connections and learned important lessons.

@arashid003 advertised his office wears business to us at the end of the program. Smart guy. Just that almost all the guys who attended the event were either broke or stingy. Because I didn’t see anyone buying. His products are dope anyway and I plan on buying one or two myself. I just need this my sure odds to enter.

The Hive Ghana Meetup in Tamale was a huge success. I would like to dedicate special accolades to the sponsors of the event @mcsamm and @collinz. And of course a special thanks to the organizers @samed10 @depressedfuckuo and Tamale bongo ideas @abdul01.

Even though Hive Ghana did not start early like the country communists, if we pull our unique Human Resources together and remain consistent on this blockchain, we can take Hive to the moon and start there!
