Solo travel...

Who says travelling solo means you are unhappy? Being alone doesn't always mean your in such melancholic state. It doesn't mean no one wants to be with you, that no one wants you.

Well, that is not the case for me. I had this trip on my birthday, just me. It was a weekday so as expected the beach isn't crowded. And yeah, the beach was all mine! I had the entire stretch all to myself where I can just be at peace and enjoy the serenity of the beach. Where the only whispers are the waves silently crashing on the shores. Though the heat is at its peak, the coolness of the sea waters relaxes my body.

I do enjoy travelling solo. I can do whatever I want at my own pace. I can have and be at peace. I call it "soul searching", and friends termed that too when I do travel solo. It is where I can just be myself. It may sound crazy, but, that is the time that I really talk to myself intensely about things in my life. And I do encourage people that at some point in life they try to travel alone for it could really give them another kind of refreshment. It feels good afterwards. And perhaps it could change other's perception that it implies being lonely.

I love the beach! So that is where I usually run to when I do my solo travel. It could be the same place or a different one, it depends. =)

So go travel, whether you are alone or not, just enjoy every bit!
