Sipaway away...

Hello my Steemit friends! Let me share another getaway of mine.

It was an early morning and when I arrived at the rendezvouz, at first I was told that we were only going to Toledo, one of the provinces in southern Cebu, that we were just going to visit some relatives of my friend who's home for a vacation. Traffic was moderate and travel took around 2 hours, during the travel I was told that we will be going to an island across Toledo. We then arrived in the municipal proper, took some rest, and prepare food while waiting for the others get ready by then . Then we bought tickets for the fastcraft and it will take about almost another 2 hours on that fastcraft to get to San Carlos City port and from there you get a motorcycle "habal-habal" or tricycle and ask the driver to take you to the port for Sipaway where you will ride a "pumpboat/motorbangka" to get to the island's well-known resort, Whispering Plams.

It's my first time and I'm kind of excited and curious of what the island could bring to view. There were waves that met us as we rode, was a bit scary but fun. Then we arrived.

The resort is quiet, you can feel peace and definitely relaxed around it. They also have a restaurant where you can just sit, wait and dine. No more hassle in preparing food. ( Apologies that there are no photos taken. We were so famished and as we got full, we're just wanting to go swim to refresh so we did forget to take pictures) That time, if I remember it right, the pool was still unavailable. But who cares about the pool when you have this beach that awaits you?

It wasn't crowded and there were really just a few who were savoring the leisure and tranquility of the resort. The beach was calling and we didn't delay, so off we go to enjoy the swim. It really is refreshing to take a dip feeling its saltiness, heat may be scorching but the cool waters of the sea will be at your defense.
