That's a really good idea. I guess they would have let us camp right next to the observatory. I had a quick search online about it but there literally only 1 page that has some photos of a group who visited it year ago - no inside shots or anything.

And yes i am sure the wildlife is very different. the vegetation certainly was - even if it looks similar in my photos to other posts. Lots more pine trees up there.
