An enjoyable off the beaten track adventure, the observatory would be interesting to visit again if in the region, perhaps get permission to camp close to it and have a peek at the stars when reassembled.

Finding cooler climate at higher altitude I imagine would make for change in wildlife, exploring a lot more on foot once you have an ideal spot.
