I introduced myself last month and I shared a bit of life. One thing I mentioned, as if my username didn’t give it away, is that I am a writer. I’m publishing a story and it will be available on at several fine book sellers, but I figured I’d solicit some feedback from the STEEM community. So I figured I’d throw out the idea of what I’m doing and if you are interested, I’ll share more of the story with you guys.
So first of all, the story is in the crime fiction genre. It takes place in New York City and features a female journalist who is down on her luck. She used to be one of the most powerful editors in Europe, but after a scandal, nobody wanted her. She spends time in jail and then returns to the US to try to rebuild her life. She ends up taking a job as a writer at a lowly third-rate paper just to get by. However, after she gets brought in on a juicy tip about a dead body in the river, she manages to climb her way back to the top… and bring down some unsavory characters along the way.
Right now this story is about 105k words. I’ll probably release a chapter at a time to the STEEM community if you guys seem interested in it.
