I noticed that they like everyday things happening or anything unusual. However, there are only a few interesting incidents we experience in life unless we make things up to get their attention and then bring them to Hive. If we do this regularly, though, people may notice and consider it spam.
We can make things go viral there, but it will not be consistent. For regular personal content like crafting or cooking, some people may still enjoy it, and we can still bring them to Hive. However, the content needs to be extra attractive or extravagant, which requires a lot of work and is not guaranteed to succeed. Another way is to build good relationships with them and invite them, but that is something I personally dislike doing.
So, my only realistic option there is research and news, hoping that one piece of research will go viral from time to time. People also like to follow new findings and discoveries.
That is why I am creating a community that can potentially be used for Reddit/Threads in the future, hopefully avoiding the typical blog format. Anyway, we can only try, and I hope people will support us here, as it is not an easy journey and takes a lot of our time.
