people on Threads like visuals more than long words

I believe Threads is about viral content first of all - unlike Reddit where you can get many upvotes for smart posts in certain subreddits.

And that's much easier to create a viral short post than a viral long post. But Threads prefers viral long posts.

Why I think so:

1. when I see Threads posts, promoted on Instagram, these are always long stories and normally about life situations: relationships or border crossing or paperwork - about what all people do. Like, relationships aren't part of my interests, IG knows that, but they anyway show me stories like "I met a handsome rich man and everything was so good, until early in the morning he suddenly urged me to pay for..." and you can read what he asked to pay for only after installing the Threads app :D

2. A general argument: everyone knows about Threads but most people don't use it actively daily. So Threads is searching (perhaps) for authors who will make Threads visitors use the app longer and return to the app daily. Longer means: long posts or/and long discussions in the comments or/and interaction with the rest of the content through visiting the profile page. So if people only like your posts and leave, that's not cool, you aren't the top tier user for Threads algo. That's why Threads can lose part of the interest in some accounts after giving extra visibility at the beginning @davideownzall
