I think that might be a bit of an oversimplification. Psychopathy and sociopathy aren’t formal diagnoses but antisocial personality disorder is. Most research describes psychopathy as a cluster of traits, not just a lack of conscience. And people with psychopathic traits can still develop PTSD so in that case the idea that they’re “immune” to trauma isn’t accurate. But I will try to find out more about this. Thank you.
