So I’ve been playing about a month in. Have gotten to arena 5 and it dawned on me. Although it’s great to increase trophies and unlock additional troop types i realized that most of my co-workers and friends used at least 4 out of their 8 troop types in arena 5 or less.
This got me to thinking if my arena 10+ friends have a couple of troops in arena 5 or less wouldn’t it be smart for me to wait to unlock additional troop types.
Here’s my theory.
By NOT unlocking troop types i DO limit myself to not getting those card types but i DO increase my chances of getting specific troop types to arena 5 or less which essentially gives me a greater chance at finding what i want vs creating a bigger pool of options and ultimately not getting what i want.
By NOT advancing arenas, i can level the troop types i want that they are using as well, grow my troops to higher levels and gradually introduce new troop types by completing arena advancements, thus increasing more options of getting unwanted troop types.
If i do this tactic then i won’t have to worry about struggling to level my knight, wizard and witch.
If I’m wrong here please educate me on better tactics otherwise i feel like not advancing in arenas and keeping troop types locked is the way to go until you’ve maxed out those troop types.
