Hello Splinterlands family! I'm Halim from Algeria.
For the last 3 years I was a Clash Royale player. I reached Arena 7 and my best deck was Giant Level 6 as a tank with Spear Goblins Level 8 BEST, Mini PEKKA and Musketeer. I always loved the swarm strategy - using many small cheap troops to defeat one big expensive troop. It was the best feeling.
Two weeks ago my phone started to lag a lot and I couldn't play Clash Royale anymore. I was searching for a light game that works in Chrome without download, and I found Splinterlands.
I created my account HALIM19_LITE and I was shocked. It's the same brain! In Clash Royale I use Spear Goblins to distract, in Splinterlands I use Furious Chicken and Creeping Ooze for the same job. Cheap, fast, and they protect my big damage dealer.
I started with the free starter cards. I lost my first 2 battles because I didn't understand mana and summoners. But after watching 3 tutorial battles, I won 3 battles in a row with Water element. My favorite combo now is Alric Stormbringer with Spineback Turtle and the small ooze that reduces speed.
What I love in Splinterlands compared to Clash Royale is that the battle is only 2 minutes, it doesn't use battery, and it works even with weak internet in Setif. Also, my cards are really mine. In Clash Royale when I stop playing, I lose everything. Here I can sell my cards.
I am joining the Social Media Challenge to earn my Spellbook. My goal is to reach Bronze 3 this month and build my first swarm deck with 5 cheap monsters under 0.10 dollars each. I will post my progress every week.
