When it comes to achieving more in my life AND feeling better about myself at the same time, there is 1 concept that has been CRUCIAL to all of it!

It is one of the most important personal development concepts there are!

Before I learned how t get myself back together again after having been broken into 1000 tiny pieces by life, I got this completely wrong. Because of this 1 mistake, I stayed STUCK in life for years!

That mistake was incongruence.

If you want to become your best self, you MUST align your words and actions.

The problem back in the day was that I had high aspirations for myself. I would tell myself and others what great things I was going to achieve. At the same time, I was NOT doing the things that success required of me. I was in a complete state of disillusion.

This 1 bad habit broke me down even further!

Think about it this way:

Have you ever told yourself that you were going to the gym today, and then you didn't go? If so, you have probably spent a good amount of time beating yourself up for not staying true to your own word, right?

It's a horrible feeling.

And so, the way I started making real progress in my life (both in terms of actual goals as well as my mental state) was to stick to my word. It wasn't always easy, but I got myself to the point where if I say I would do X, that gets done!

It comes down to being disciplined.

When you are in congruence with who you say you are, your mind and body reward you with feeling better about yourself. That trust you have in yourself is what we call confidence and self esteem.

One of the best things I ever did for myself was making more promises to myself and then doing whatever I can to make sure that I hold myself accountable to those promises!

I'd highly recommend you to do the same thing!
