On a free afternoon in Belgium we found ourselves in the quaint, cultural city of Ghent. Enjoying a few hours of nice weather before the storms arrived, we stumbled upon the Gravensteen, a medieval castle in the heart of the city. Surrounded by the peaceful canal and unique architecture from centuries of development, the "castle of the count" is a must see when making a trip to Ghent.
