We are looking to buy a camera to document the opening of our makerspace on Dtube and Dlive...
but we have no idea what we're looking for!
We have a very small startup budget (roughly $10,000), and we are still looking for investors to fill that budget. We could currently spend up to 100 STEEM (aprox. $350) on a camera that will let us start posting to @dtube and
@dlive about opening a real world Steem business! We're currently only a team of 3, and none of us are videographers, so we're looking for some advice on what might be the best setup we can start up with.
We've looked at many different packages within our price range. Here are a few that we've seen:
- Canon VIXIA HF R800 Full HD Black Camcorder ($279)
- Andoer HDV-Z82 1080P Full HD 24MP Digital Video Camera Camcorder ($183)
- Sony HD Video Recording HDRCX405 HDR-CX405/B Handycam Camcorder ($238)
- WiFi Full HD Professional 24MP 16X Digital Video Camcorder ($158)
Would you start a vlog with one of these?
Let us know if we're looking at the right thing, and if not, put a couple links in the comments of cameras that would suit us well! We want to be able to show everyone the whole process of getting our makerspace up and running, and to also document the amazing things we will create, and the people we will bring to Steemit.
Put us on the path to success with any support or advice you can offer!
We are very open to feedback, and welcome any and all questions and comments about what we're doing, and our plans for the future. We will be opening moving into our new space within a couple weeks, so we want to be ready to document it from the get-go.
Want to "Sponsor" our vlog? Let's make a deal!
Hey @dtube creators! If someone were to, say... donate a camera to
@thesteemhouse, that person would not only receive credit, but also receive a 5% cut of the SBD generated from every video
@thesteemhouse produces with that camera! Sound good? Want to negotiate that a bit? Let us know in the comments!
As stated above, we are still looking to fill our startup fund of 2000 STEEM, and we are selling a lifelong cut of the SBD generated by this account for those who contribute to our early success. Read our latest post about the investment program, and join the Steem House Dream Team!
@thesteemhouse will soon be a real-world "Steem-centric" makerspace! Members will be able to learn new skills, and express their creativity in ways they could only dream of, all while earning money for it!
