The Scent of Hope [A 50 Word Short]

Alex sighed as her daughter stormed out of the kitchen.

She buried her face in her hands. She’d never survive the teen years! Not without Mark.

Her younger son opened the fridge, releasing the scent of lemons. Mark loved lemons.

Alex took a deep breath. She could do this.
