Todays testnet release of Libra gave me an extremely bullish feeling.
Why? Let me explain.

When you think about it, what this essentially means is that all users on Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp will have a highway into the crypto world.
I do understand that some people are not happy with the fact that Libra will not be as decentralised as they'd like it to be. Some people are also not trusting facebook or big tech-giants in general. But without going too much in detail about these criticisms, I'd argue that for real decentralism we still have BTC & co.
Instead, Libra will bring crypto one giant step closer to mass adoption. Why? Well, at least 2.5+ billion people will have access intro the crypto-world. This will also probably mean that people are able to send(crypto) money (Libra) across facebook messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp & co.
If this doesn't give you goosebumps right now, let me say this: these 2.5+ billion people will probably realize that BTC isn't just some kind of internet money, without value or just a phase. No no. As soon as they make their first transaction with Libra, they will see the light; what we've all been seeing for years (or however long you're in this eco-system).
Which essentially means: they will have a direct connection to invest money into the digital gold aka BTC. Which in result, will distribute money across the alt-coins - incl. STEEM.
And this, ladies and gentleman, will be hu-uuu-ge and is the reason why I'm absolutely bullish right now. I'm not saying that BTC can't drop again substantially, but rather my bullish feeling is towards 2020 and beyond.
