Step back for a minute and see the big picture

People around the planet are struggling. They are angry. This world has made them feel empty and small. They want a better life. When someone steps forward and says with confidence, "I have the answers", they are seen as a potential savior, a rescuer. Trump, Bernie, and to a lesser degree, Hillary, are seen as saviors. People hand over their will, their logic. We hope they can end our suffering, bring us back from a world we see on the brink. Are you someone who needs to be saved?

I choose a different path forward

You can only remain a victim until you realize the truth. We are each powerful creators and we get to create our own realities. How many elections do we have to choose between bad and worse before we sit down and co-create a system that actually works for everyone? How many times are you going to let yourself believe there is an "us" and a "them?" Swim in the ignorance of victimhood or rise above it.

"But what about all the crazies out there?", you may think. We are each conscious beings. We can't control each other's thoughts and feelings. When we tell someone they are wrong, do they ever listen? Rarely. Normally, it just polarizes them more. Want to make the world better? Focus on the one person you can change... yourself. Learn to love even those in the most profound ignorance and hate. It isn't easy, but I believe in you.
