If I could have it there permanently, I would build it out. One day, I might get some land of my own, although my friends want me to keep it there. I don't know if one day he might sell the house, etc. Who knows? One thing would be to build it out a bit; it can be cramped. About the pressure cooking, I used to use one a lot until it blew up. It was one of the electronic ones that turn themselves off, etc., and things like that. These days, I would just get a pressure cooking pot that you put on the stove with a weight on it, like my dad used to have. Although I have to admit, I did like the electronic cooker. Those prices you mentioned, though, are crazy. Here in New Zealand, you can get a brand-new pressure cooker for about 80 USD. That would be a baseline one, but one that is an electronic one, etc., like I had. I bought the cheapest one, lol. Strangely, it seems like water distillers, in terms of price. Here in New Zealand, water distillers are about 200 USD, and I can't find anything cheaper. Although I do have my own, I thought that was always crazy, considering it's just a fan with an element in it.
About your surgery - hopefully you can keep us updated on that front. But if not, I wish you all the best! And a speedy recovery!
Thanks!
