I think from memory, and I could be wrong - but I think he was 43 years old. So yeah, way to young to be in Vietnam by a factor of 30 years most likely. About the train - yeah, those are some beautiful trains, I have not done a deep drive like you - but its cool that they have those glass lookouts - they just look sleek and cool really, its a great area in design and everything really - people would build things to express themselves and the future of their society - and yeah so much in the art culture was about "the future", and how bright it would be - I think you saw that right through into the late 1950s really in art etc., culture - then people changed etc., so things went in another direction -thanks for the kind words also, means a lot!
