Wow Ed, I'm so glad you included that Mercury train!
Coincidentally last month I sort of dove into the rabbit hole on locomotives. Which is something I tend to do with different subjects. I love cars, computers, ships, architecture, planes, guns, and now TRAINS too.

But that Mercury you shared is a stand out train, and when it started in 1936 they called them the "Trains Of Tomorrow", and it turns out General Motors also had a promotional train project with the same name. The GM trains were very luxurious because they were long-distance, and they were the first of their kind to have the glass observation decks up in the top of the passenger cars. Both kinds are very cool.

Regarding the man who attacked the candidate: That whole thing was very odd to me. He definitely had what people called "spiked knuckles" which are illegal, and even though he didn't seem to try very hard to harm the candidate it was assault with an illegal weapon nonetheless. If it had been a democratic candidate they'd be making the guy out to be a terrorist right-winger and he'd be in solitary confinement.
The other thing I noticed about him was he had a Vietnam Veteran hat on, but he didn't appear old enough to have served in Vietnam.
I didn't catch his age though, maybe you said it in the video, but when I watched it this morning they didn't say. My grandfather was in Vietnam while in the Air Force, and he was born in 1945 so he would have been 78 now. This guy looked like MAYBE early 50's? I don't know, that part struck me as odd.

The other thing I found very suspicious was those two young boys with all of that fentanyl being released. Of course they're not going to show up to court. That's trafficking, conspiracy, distribution of a deadly narcotic. Fentanyl is the LEADING CAUSE of death for men in the USA ages 17-45. Kills more people than car accidents.
Either they let them go because they're watching them to see who/where they run to or those guys are cartel and there's bribes involved.
