Today I had a great reason to skip my remote work a little. My mom asked me to take Peaches for a walk in nature. She said that he's been moping lately and it wouldn't hurt for him to unwind, especially since our swift and short spring is in full swing and this guy's hormones are raging. Who is a Peach?
This red-haired bandit. And don't ask me about the choice of a nickname, after all, it's Mom's cat, not mine. It's better if she calls the cat a peach, not me. Moreover, you should understand the hierarchy. Peaches wants to go for a walk, but Mom is working today and can't go with him, so she asks me to leave my job to walk Peaches. I think I shouldn't have moved out from her, then I would have had a chance to remain a beloved son.
In the original, in my language, his name sounds like Persik - that's what we call peaches )))
Anyway, I really love this cat, he's probably the bravest of all the cats I know. He loves to walk in nature, sometimes even in winter. So I decided to take him not to the city park, but to the coast. He was delighted.
We started walking in a small coastal forest. Fresh, newborn greenery has already unfolded like a blanket on the ground, dozens of insects entertained the Peach with their chaotic traps, but he was waiting for bigger prey. There is something canine about this cat, he is sociable enough to follow you and not run away far.
So I moved towards the water, and he trotted after me with the air of a real owner of these places. Today I decided not to take any large-scale photos of the grandiose northern space, but rather to focus on something more intimate and detailed.
It was nice to finally see that the forest was awake and the trees were filled with strength. The warm polar sun, periodic rain and gentle Arctic wind made this day wonderful.
We came to the low tide, and found several local guys looking for food. Ooo, none of them suspected that he had turned from a hunter into a prey…
Come on, of course I'm fantasizing. A cat bearing the formidable name of Peach cannot harm anyone. Rather, he is like a child who plays hunting and all this ends only in beautiful poses about 1000 meters from the prey.
And as a child, he quickly became over-saturated with emotions and impressions and decided to relax a little on a sun-warmed stone.
Interestingly, maybe a few tens of thousands of years ago, some saber-toothed tiger lay on this stone and watched the mammoths pass by. And now this place has been taken by a Peach who is looking at me…
A really good spring-summer day, without wise thoughts and chasing images. Take a walk on Wednesdays, friends
