We just had plans to spend this weekend figuring out how to convert our STEEMs to HIVE taking advantage of the fact that prices were relatively stable and similar between USD 0.1 and 0.2 both currencies.
Well, but... The HIVE currency had to rise significantly leaving behind the STEEM just before we managed to do the conversion. Of course!
It was a race against time not to lose money, obviously. Still, we did it whatever the current price and the relationship between the two currencies is because we are confident that the community will continue to grow and the currency will continue to rise.
Justo teníamos planes de dedicarnos este fin de semana a descifrar como convertir nuestros STEEM a HIVE aprovechando que los precios estaban relativamente estables y similares entre USD 0.1 y 0.2 ambas monedas.
Bueno, pero... La moneda HIVE tenía que subir significativamente dejando atrás al STEEM justo antes de que nosotros lograramos hacer la conversión. ¡Por supuesto!
Fue una carrera contra el tiempo para no perder dinero, obviamente. Aun así, lo hicimos sea cual sea el precio actual y la relación entre ambas monedas porque confiamos en que la comunidad seguirá creciendo y la moneda seguirá en aumento.
Officially our Steem account is at 0 SBD, 0 STEEM and with a full powerdown in progress. After we lived the centralization of the STEEM platform in flesh by having lost a very good post by the simple fact of putting "Hive" in the title, we knew that this would be the best decision.
Oficialmente nuestra cuenta de Steem esta en 0 SBD, 0 STEEM y con un full powerdown en proceso. Despues de que vivimos la centralización de la plataforma de STEEM en carne propia al haber perdido un muy buen post por el simple hecho de colocar "Hive" en el título, sabiamos que esta sería la mejor decisión.
Following advices from 
1. We sent Steem to our Binance account
2. At Binance, we traded our Steem for BTC
3. Then, we use Blocktrades to change and send Hive to our account
4. Ready! It's that easy.
Since we're on Steem and Hive, it's the first time we've made a deposit and not a withdrawal,at first the platforms are a little overwhelming but you just have to read a little and follow the steps.
We have a conversion from HBD to HIVE in progress, when this is completed we will also do our first Power Up at Hive.
Siguiendo el consejo de
1. Enviamos Steem a nuestra cuenta de Binance
2. En Binance, cambiamos nuestro Steem por BTC
3. Luego, usamos Blocktrades para cambiar y enviar Hive a nuestra cuenta
4. ¡Listo! Así de facil.
Desde que estamos en Steem y en Hive, es primera vez que hacemos un depósito y no un retiro, al principio las plataformas son un poco abrumadoras pero solo basta con leer un poco y seguir los pasos.
Tenemos una conversión de HBD a HIVE en curso, cuando esta esté completada también haremos nuestro primer Power Up en Hive.
By the time you read this the prices will surely have changed, hopefully for the better. We do not wish death to STEEM, in no way, there are many people who still trust and have life in that platform, in general, we are happy all the numbers in green, but we feel super good to be now 100% in Hive without missing Steem, and we hope you too!
Para el momento en que leas esto los precios seguramente ya habrán cambiado, esperando que para bien. No le deseamos la muerte al STEEM, de nunguna manera, hay muchas personas que aun confian y haven vida en esa plataforma, en general, nos alegran todos los números en verde, pero nos sentimos super bien al estar ahora 100% en Hive sin extrañar Steem, y esperamos que tu también!
