Now this is why I love steemit!

The other day I casually yet optimistically entered what I considered a very simple yet clever idea.

Thanks to @necromortis steemit now has a Battle of the Beards! #steemitbeards.

With simple but clever goals in mind the contest has two categories who has the best groomed and the most fun beard.

I'm in the running and here's the bread and butter of the post and why I'm claiming to love steemit...

@necromortis has conveniently and eye pleasingly set all the contestants up with their photos and the creators own unique take on the beards submitted.

My bio had me geeking for quite awhile. It was in that defining moment I realized how fun steemit can be. And how inclusive and supportive it can be if we just have fun and show each other love!

To all those currently running and those thinking about creating their own contest, please do! This platform will thrive on these fun interactions. Let's get even more creative and find even more positive and fun ways to get others involved!
