Agree and disagree. There can be low-effort posts that just work, and high-effort posts (if I may brag, my covid posts) that just aren't always that interesting.
I don't mind, though. These are usually things I do as a semi-hobby, and the fact that I can share it with an interested community and make some dough gives me more motivation to actually get at it.
It might also be my personality - I like to go over comments. Considering that this isn't YouTube or Facebook, most comments are more thoughtful. & kinder, I might add lol :)
Hell, this is a great example - I was scrolling felixxx's blog after he responded to a post of mine, started reading comments... got engaged. Maybe I'm the exemption here, but I genuinely enjoy it. Reminds me of web forums in the early 2000s
