Coffee is one of the drinks always present in someone's hands or at a table. It gives relaxation for some and others it fuels them up. It is also best enjoyed over conversations with friends over random topics when catching up or studying at home or a coffee shop.

Let me share a place where we drove in the middle of the night to get some coffee. The place is called Uptown Coffee, located in Carolina, Naga City. A perfect place to chill, study, or hang out with friends. It is just by the road but is far from the city center, away from the hustle and bustle. It is also perfect for those people who are looking for a place that is quite secluded.

This coffee shop is not new to us as we have already been here a couple of times already. But what amazes me is that it feels like it's our first time going here every time we visit because the ambiance of the place feels so cozy. They have an open-type cafe where natural air just flows in the entire area.

Uptown Coffee offers several drinks from non-coffee to caffeinated drinks and other food.

There is also a grilling place (Carolina Grill) located just next to it where one can get barbecues and beers. Perfect if you want to eat heavy meals while sipping your iced coffee.

Took a photo of this wall because it is just too cute. Some of the stickers here are from other shops.

What I liked aside from this coffee shop's drinks is its wide space. There is just so much space that can cater to many people just like the open area and also the nipa hut posted here.

Since I've mentioned that I have been here a couple of times already, here is my honest review about:

For their coffee, it is more on the sweeter side. I guess it is their own style of making it. But for someone who prefers drinking strong coffee, it can also be requested from their baristas.

Their billing is also less hassle as they not only accept cash but they are now adapting to using electronic cash such as Gcash for their mode of payment. This place is also unfailing when it comes to their customer service as one of my friends left her change and they just sent it to her Gcash after messaging their Facebook page.

The place for me is 10/10. I guess after you read the first part of this blog, you can already tell that I really like this place. This place not only offers coffee but a place to run away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

There is only one thing that I do not like about this place, it is the location of their restroom. As I have mentioned above, their place is so spacious. The restroom is located at the far back of the property along the creek. For others who are easily scared, the location of their restroom is not ideal, especially at night. I just hope that they consider making a new one near the front where there is so much light and where people can easily see it.

Here are some photos of the drinks that I ordered before:

This one's a Matcha Latte. I approved of this because this is of my liking. Just the right taste.

And oh, before I forget, "Ano saro pa?" in English direct translation is "What, one more?" Hahahaha it sounds so informal or grammatically incorrect but let's just say that it translates as "Do you want one more?"

Aside from Matcha latte, Hazelnut is my go-to iced coffee of choice. I just like the strong nutty flavor while also enjoying the hint of milk. This also helps me to keep me awake during nights that I need to study.

Strawberry milk. I opted for this the last time I visited the coffee shop because I didn't want to stay up all night. What I liked about this is that it has real strawberry jam unlike in other coffee shops that they only use powdered flavoring.
