Sometimes, amidst the hustle and bustle of our daily routines, all you really need is a peaceful place, good company, a delicious cup of coffee, and a moment to slow down and enjoy the magic of the golden hour. It had been a very long time since I last saw my friend Mary; our schedules lately have barely matched up, making a get-together quite a challenge. Because of that, we decided to intentionally gift ourselves some quality time and head out to explore a new coffee spot in town.
Our steps led us to a place that caught our attention right from the start: Foam. The moment we walked through the door, it felt like a mini time travel experience. The shop has an incredible visual concept based on pixel art, beautifully combined with a modern groovy aesthetic that gives off those nostalgic vibes of 1970s vinyl record cafes. It is a deeply warm, relaxed space, filled with inspiring little details. To make it even better, they have an adorable, super fluffy pet that steals the heart of anyone who visits, adding an extra touch of coziness to the whole experience.
Since the heat these days has been absolutely unbearable, my body was practically begging for something refreshing, so I decided to order an Iced Cappuccino. It was the perfect remedy to cool down the afternoon. To go with it and sweeten our conversation, we decided to share a chocolate chip cookie with a touch of salted caramel. What an absolute win! I swear it was love at first bite; that combination of textures and the contrast between sweet and salty is just out of this world.
To top off a wonderful afternoon, the cafe gave me some complimentary stickers as a sweet gesture. As soon as I saw the designs, I knew exactly where they belonged: straight into my art journal. In fact, the aesthetic of the place left me feeling so inspired that I’m already tempted to bring out my brushes and paint the experience to capture this beautiful memory.
Foam has definitely made it onto my list of favorite spots, and I will be returning very soon to try a bit more of their menu. If you are looking for a place with great vibes, excellent coffee, and an atmosphere that sparks creativity.
