as the weather cools here in the northern hemisphere, and darkness arrives sort of in the middle of the day (by Africa comparisons at least) ... fireplaces, comfort food, candlelight and soft music starts to become the norm...
for the record... i am an unashamed romantic... so winter brings out the best of me.
looking through the list of great soul artists / acts it is weird to see very few pale skinned artists ... so back to one of my fave artists... and someone who has contributed to many a candle lit evening in front of the fireplace ...
