Aaaaahhh, is s good to be back listening to music and keen to share. I started todays post looking at top music videos for creativity ( obviously also worth listening to as well )..and digressed into well, music.
At one stage this video was rated the best music video for originality. Have a watch and bear in mind that this was in the 80's.
Peter Gabriel - Sledgehammer
The following video was what got me thinking about creative vids ... I think it will appeal to
Talking Heads - Blind
That is pretty wild for the era it was created ... I am really going through a Talking Heads / David Byrnes phase... so expect some more coming up in the next few weeks. I need to dig through all my vinyl , I am sure I have an album or two of theirs.
Pink Floyd have always been wildly 'colorful' in their music, album artwork and videos .. so was difficult to isolate just one... but needs must so here is Time
Time - Pink Floyd
Then I fell down the rabbit hole and just enjoyed the music... and the next two tracks are both amazing. In the first some awesome guitar from Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones and great vocals from Robert Plant.. and the piece de resistance ... a long fabulous live flute solo by Ian Anderson, he of Jethro Tull. Do yourself a favor and watch the whole video.. is brilliant and an epic performance
Led Zeppelin - Gallow Pole
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
As always , thank you for stopping by .. I hope the music lifted your mood and at the very least made you 'tap a toe' {grin}
