Something inside of me is pulling towards the surface

To distract me... to coerce me through...

I am in fear of all of the uncertain

Its daunting and I can't see through...

I want to find myself again and I wonder where it ends

I have been lost on this floor and yet I still not sure

I crawl into my sins and look to feel for what is real

I am yet to know my wins... for loss is all I feel

I don't know what is for sure... but I can't be cured

I call out to you with all of my uncertains

Distracting and destroying my truths

You do answer me with all of your learnings

You teach me and try to push me through

Yet I am drowning in the shallows of you

Crawling through the mud and the goo

Searching for a single escape and yet knowing what is true

Today I crawl no more

I find my legs to stand or collapse for sure

Ending the bitterness of knowing not

And wondering what it is to be...

Go with me or go without

Only you will ever know

I must be so young to crawl beneath the surface

No walking... no running... now I can't see...

Still I crawl... Original Poetry by Sage | Ecency
