I'm quite happy to see a lot of alternatives to YouTube popping up. You have now have PewTube, BitChute, the now defunct Vidme, and now DTube. I hope that people would stop using the word 'tube though.

I went down that rabbit hole. Here are my thoughts: As to WHY: the US needs an aggressive Russia to justify the existence of NATO. Without NATO there will be no billions of dollars worth of military spending.
