I agree with Dfinney: that Person 'A' delegating for Person 'B' while Person 'B' is delegating for Person 'C' is silly. If Person 'B' can delegate for anyone else, then perhaps they no longer need to be receiving support from Person 'A' and that delegation is best applied to Person 'E' instead.

I am co-founder of TheTerminal, a project to help those new to the blockchain, and we do some delegating of our own to help newbies who have no HP of their own. We delegate either HP or RC to them until they have established themselves on the blockchain with a decent amount of their own HP. Our criteria for keeping the delegation is that they:

  • do not plagiarize (steal or 'spin' others' work)
  • remain active
  • comment/upvote others' posts to build their network
  • PowerUp rewards to grow their account, do not 'cash-out' to an exchange

Once they reach 100 HP, 200 HP, or 500 HP (the number depends on how hard they're trying to grow their accounts, how closely they listen to our advice, how active they are in our Discord as well as the blockchain, etc.), the delegation is pulled and given to someone else. Perhaps something similar would work for SGS?
