Gods Unchained contains 1083 overall cards at the moment differing between all gods and neutral. This goes to show how much a player can lack knowledge of cards because of the wide variety, and how many different decks, combos and plays are possible which makes the game more interesting!

Among those 1083 cards, there are 194 cards from the divine order expansion. And even among those I saw how much I lack knowledge of cards and keep discovering new ones so I thought it would be a good idea to share my packs with you and give my thoughts about the cards!

This can help new or old players see new cards and I encourage people to do so to spread knowledge among the members of this community. Either cards that you newly saw and felt they are strange or the pack as a whole!

So last weekend for me did not go well; I was able to grab 13 wins only 1 win away from another pack and I got a pack from the "What a Mortal" price which makes it a total of 2 packs that I am going to talk about! So let's jump into it.

First Pack

So let's talk about each cards individually:

Voracious Fiend (0.09$)

A pretty decent card. It is highly used as an early game creature in most zombie decks with the leech and the extra zombie summoned from afterlife it gives pretty good value for a 2 mana card.

Twisting Talisman (0.07$)

I never saw this card before, maybe because there are not a lot of deception decks that it fits in. Although this card can be useful against nature for example, as a substitute for the Munosian Infiltrator I can see being really good against the Marsh Walker and maybe against the Wild Hog to grab early game advantage.

Armadillo Familiar (0.03$)

I actually tried this card before and I did not feel like it was much effective. With the tons of damage and spells to kill creature and blitz in this meta, it is tough to survive even 1 round with 1 HP and 1 armor even if it was provided. So I can't see any value coming out of it really.

Strix Conscript (0.03$)

Also tried this one before once or twice. There are a lot of better alternatives since it only has 2 HP armor is not going to do much for the reason that a lot of spells and creatures will already have 3 strength minimum at that point.

Moonlight Charm (1.01$)

A very good card, used in a lot of nature decks. I actually bought one a while ago because I wanted to use it and now I got another one and felt good to have it. Even with the upcoming change to it, (it will become 0/3 and ability activated not from frenzy), I feel it will be as strong if not more for the reason that you can use it whenever you want without worrying about being frenzied or not. Especially with the confused creatures of nature that might cause problems.

Second Pack

Pan Forgemaster (0.03$ meteorite)

I do not see this card used a lot maybe because there is not a lot of nether decks out there. Maybe it would fit well in a certain nether deck although I am not familiar with them. However, for 4 mana 3/3 I can see it giving good value only if there was a couple of creatures on board when it was dropped otherwise I this it does not do much.

Looting Squire (0.03$ meteorite)

This card is bad in my opinion. Having 1 health, and only gets armor if a friendly creature gets destroyed for 3 mana. Let's say 2 creatures were destroyed in the same round it will have 1 HP 2 armor when most of 3 mana and some 2 mana creatures have 3 strength so she's an easy target. Maybe if it had blitz or and extra point of HP it would be much better to either clear weak creatures or to be able to survive more. Having 1 HP is really a drawback most of the times.

Another Round (0.72$)

A great card, widely used in frenzied aggro or control war decks. It provides a lot of value for 4 mana it can help you pack a punch or kill a strong creature if you had to. I had only 1 copy of it and now this is the second! I wonder how viable it will be though after it's nerfed we will wait and see!

Harrowing Visions (0.03$)

I do not know if there are death decks that are based on drawing cards that I am not aware of. I only know of Board Wipe that it is a late game deck but wasting 4 mana to draw cards can give the opponent a bigger edge and not let you make it to late game. So I do not know any good use of this card if you do let me know in the comments!

Illustrious Planetar (0.03$)

I think this card would do decent if there was a certain favor based Aether light deck which I do not think there is. I have never seen it played before as well. So I do not see much of a use for it as well.

Conclusion

With the wide variety of cards in the game at the moment, we keep discovering new unheard of cards every time. This is one of the beautiful sides of the game which gives a wide variety to vary between styles and decks.

Especially with the new cards upcoming as well this will open the way for more playstyles and maybe change the meta a little bit which I do not mind especially since I am into trying different gods nowadays!

So hope sharing this with you helped or made you discover any new card that you think is interesting. I would love to see such posts of weird cards shared and maybe I can make it a weekly post of weird cards with my opinion on them!

Let me know in the comments if I should do so and I hope this post was helpful or knowledgeable in any way!

Mad love, Peace out <3
