Today, while playing Splinterlands again, I had a great moment. The Gladius Pack Opening has been quite interesting to me for a long time. Because there is no way to understand in advance which card will come when you open these packs. Sometimes a normal card comes, sometimes a Rare card comes, and if you are lucky, you can also get a Legendary card. My experience while opening the Gladius Pack today was also quite good. I got several cards at once and there is also a Legendary card among them. So today's Pack Opening has become a little more enjoyable for me.
There is actually a different excitement when opening a pack. The most interesting thing about Pack Opening for me is that there is a possibility of getting something new every time. So even without having any expectations in advance, when you get a good card, the joy is much greater.
Chimney Wallstop is a notable card among the cards found today. The picture shows that the card has a high Mana Cost and its Attack, Health and Armor are also good. This type of card is especially important to me, because if there is a suitable Battle Ruleset, it can be used as a strong Frontline. Getting the same card multiple times is also a good thing for me. Because in the future, there will be an opportunity to Level Up these cards together. In Splinterlands, it is very important for me to not only collect new cards, but also to gradually strengthen the same cards by collecting them.
Then I got Alfredo. It is a Rare card and its Mana Cost is only 2. Cards with low Mana Cost always seem attractive to me. Because when Mana is limited during Battle, good power cards can be used with little Mana. Cards like Alfredo can then play an important role in creating the entire Team Combination. It is not necessary to use cards with a lot of Mana cost in all Battles. Sometimes, cards with small Mana can change the entire Strategy.
Another Rare card today is Palidon Rakk. I also liked this card quite a bit. The Health and Attack of the card seem to make it quite effective in certain situations. In Splinterlands, I always try to use cards according to the situation of the battle without just looking at the card name or Rarity. Because the real power of a card is often linked to its Ability, Speed, and Team Combination. So it remains to be seen how Palidon Rakk will be useful in my Battle Strategy in the future.
Among the cards I found next is Kotriphus Bayne. This is also a Rare card. The card has a Mana Cost of 6 and a very good Health. For me, the best thing about this type of card is that it has the potential to last a little longer in Battle. Of course, a lot depends on the opponent's Team and Ruleset. Still, it is always good to have such a card in the Collection. When I can Level Up the card further in the future, its effectiveness will be better understood.
Another card from today's first part is Hugo Strongsword. This card caught my eye because of its Stats and Ability. The card has a Mana Cost of 5 and both Armor and Health. I find such cards quite useful during Battle, especially when it is necessary to deal damage in addition to dealing attacks from the front. If you can use such cards correctly, you can keep the balance of the team well.
Then, when I went to the second Pack Opening, I saw some more interesting cards. There I got Chimney Wallstop again. I didn't feel bad about getting the same card again, but I felt good. Because after getting a card once, you need multiple copies of the same card to Level Up it. So getting another copy of the same card today will be useful for my collection in the future.
I also found the design of Larissa Kerato's card quite nice. The Legendary Border and the whole Artwork give it a different feel compared to other cards. However, just because it is Legendary doesn't mean that you have to use it in every battle. For me, the real value of a Legendary card is when it is used with the right Ruleset and the right Team Combination to get good results. So I am quite interested to see how effective this card is in my future battles.
Today's Gladius Pack Opening was not bad for me at all. In fact, I got a pretty good result. Chimney Wallstop, Alfredo, Palidon Rakk, Kotriphus Bayne, Hugo Strongsword, Alva the Crusher, Bertrol Gobson, Witch of Warwick and finally Legendary Larissa Kerato—all of the cards have added something new to my Collection. How they can be used in Battle in the future is a matter of seeing.
Finally, I want to say that the joy of Pack Opening is not limited to getting good cards. The whole process is something to enjoy for me. When I open a Pack, the anticipation of what the next card will be, the joy of seeing new cards and the feeling of adding them to the Collection later—all of this has become an important part of Splinterlands for me. Getting Legendary cards in today's Opening has increased that joy several times.
I especially want to do some battles with Larissa Kerato in the future. Maybe one day I will win an important battle with these cards and then I will remember today's Pack Opening. For now, I am quite happy with all the cards I got today. When I get the chance to open the Gladius Pack again, I will have hope—a surprise like today or even better awaits.
