This is certainly a horror story, which is welcome in the Ink Well. However, I would ask you to note one of our abiding rules:

However, we ask that you avoid excessive gore and violence

Horror does not necessarily mean graphic violence. There are other ways to convey horror. I think you can tweak this story a bit, if you want, and make it less graphic so that it is more consistent with the tone we strive for in the Ink Well.

You have a great imagination. Let it free, but spare the gore. Thank you!
