This would be great fun as a cartoon or as a graphic novel. You have so many vivid characters and scenes. It seems you had great fun in writing this. We certainly had great fun in reading it.

Not all the parts fit together (why 2001 and we don't know about it now?), but it's kind of a slapdash, almost Hitchhiker Guide to the Galaxy type romp, so it doesn't have to be too realistic.

It's really nice to read a piece by someone who enjoyed writing. That pleasure is contagious. You took the ring prompt on a wild trip.
