The story posted here (Volition of Consequence) would have a stronger arc if you just added a paragraph that offered some back story. It seems you have the skill to do this efficiently.

As explained in the comment to your next part, we do not curate serials. However, each one of the stories you posted here can pretty much stand on its own. Although, this one does need a little more back story to be complete.

Your writing style is extremely competent. You handle words effectively. You create scene and character well. Completing an arc in a single story, it seems, will not be an insurmountable challenge for you.
