This is a well-developed story. The events you describe flow reasonably from one another. The resolution, an insurance payment and job, are within the realm of the believable. All in all, the story hangs together well.

It is also mostly 'clean': this means there are not a lot of noticeable errors. One or two do pop up though and careful proofreading would take care of these. Good story, @fantom22.
