There is more and more information coming forward supporting hypnosis as a viable alternative to anesthetics for surgery.
Patients are able to focus and accept suggestions that they will not feel, or simply not be bothered by, the pain associated with surgery, which is an extremely impressive feat considering that these people are being cut into and in some cases having parts of their bodies removed.
It makes me wonder what the limits to hypnosis really are.
