Time flies so fast and now I’m 23 years old.
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed and was kinda feeling gloomy since I’m going to spend my birthday away from my family this year.
Duty early in the morning. Went to the office feeling down but...
My workmates surprised meeee 😍. I felt so happy because I saw that they decorated my place with purple balloons and stuff related to my love for BTS. I saw my baby, Jungkookie 💜💜 everywhere. They edited a pic showing the two of us together hahaha (hoping the pic's true tho). They even went the extra mile by putting lights all over hahaha. My table really stood out in our office for the rest of the day.
My mood changed in an instant.
And then by lunch, they tried to surprise me once again, but this time with foods 😂. Sadly, they failed. I suddenly wondered why all of them disappeared during lunchtime. Turns out they were preparing to surprise me already. But I guess the tables have turned 😂. Sorry guys hahaha.
It was a lot for us to finish by ourselves, so we shared it with others. We were so full afterwards. I filed for an under-time later at 3 pm to celebrate my birthday with my other family and my boyfriend.
Went straight to Basilica Minore del Sto, Nino to pray and give thanks to the Lord for another year added to my life. After lighting a candle and saying our prayers, we left to go to SM Seaside.
We waited for our other friends at the restaurant for quite awhile but they're still not here. So while waiting, my boyfriend and I decided to try archery. We paid PHP 400 / USD 7.87 for the two of us, 18 arrows each to shoot. But even after our said activity, they're still nowhere to be found.
My boyfriend and I came back to Seafood Paradise but my friends are still not around. My boyfriend already noticed how my mood already changed 'cause of waiting so he suggested that for the meantime, we should have a photoshoot at Seafood Paradise. I was supposed to be happy today, why would they do this to me, right?
Then out of nowhere, they came to surprise me. Waaah 😍. My birthday's full of surprises 😊. We ate seafood all we can for PHP 499 / USD 9.81 per person. What a night.
Before going home, we decided to roam around the mall first and take some pictures. At the top lies a nice place with good background and lighting 📸.
Let’s stop for a moment and appreciate how sweet my boyfriend is. ❤️
The next day, I decided to treat my workmates with some ice cream because they kept on bugging me to treat them. They forced me to, joke hahaha.
Then Sunday came and we went to a church in Talisay to have our yearly tradition of lighting a candle and saying our prayers on that particular church. The patron saint of that place is where my name was derived. Moreover, that was the name of the church, and feast day of the saint is celebrated every October 14-15. 🙏😇
And just like that, I'm already a year older. Started it being sad then ended up celebrating it happily with the people that I love. So much to be thankful for and I'm glad I got to have these people in my life on my special day.
