Capture better Pals and expand that base!
A couple of days passed with the grind of collecting additional resources in order to get the base to level 3 and a fourth Lamball out and about, this included some Chikipi fighting once more before waiting for night time to see what is out to play..
A fight with some Daedreams was the night time fun where three of them would end up getting caught by 477, after some back and forth between his Chikipi and the Daedreams but ultimately this was how the growth really started. Because these are some much stronger Pal's to have in the party!
The rest of the night involved more battles and catching, but a big thing to find was the Lifmunk Effigy but what for? This is something 477 was unaware of at the moment but no doubt worth collecting for down the track.
Some of the Daedream had stayed up in the morning instead of wandering away which was a mistake on their part, for they would be in a fight with a mad experimental human and another Daedream!
Sometimes you have to be careful and ensure you have protection for your base, as raiders will come for it, but these ones were easily killed by the spear and are well worth defeating.
With ease to dispose and loot to collect, 4 Pal spheres were dropped to give additional chances to catch more Pals. Having enough is going to sort out any stronger Pals escaping the first heap of tries, at catching it.
After the excitement passed from the raid and some cooling off, the berry plantation was made and seeds were planted then watered. Having this and eventually some Pals to cover the cycle from planting through to collecting, would enable a steadier supply of berries to be put into the feed box and ensure no hungry Pals at all!
This got the base up to level four but 477 did not stop there and proceeded to keep building extra, meaning the base reached level five after making the Pal gear workbench, all that is missing were a better variety of Pals working around the base..
Finally it was going to be more lively in the base now an incubator was created and the scorching egg previously found, was placed to incubate and this one would be worth the wait, hopefully.
So it took some time since it was ten minutes until completion meaning it was time to make more arrows for the bow and hunting Pals and creating a ranch for some grazing and making items like wool. A sleep overnight and a little longer leads to finally making the egg hatch and what was it? An Arsox! This thing had the kindling and lumbering attributes, so it could fuel fires to make things but also farm the wood from trees, an essential component to be stacked up.
Everything was coming along nicely now there are new Pals to both use and have working on different parts of the base, well will be able to work if there is something to do.. it wasn't enough as the satisfaction of Pal catching had to continue being satisfied!
Pengullet was the next target to get a fight started with, only to ensure capturing two of them because why not?
Dark nights bring out other Pals no doubt, one is the Depresso and one that didn't require much effort. Fun was had against the Melpaca by using Daedream as one of the stronger and cooler current Pal's on the line up, but this one wouldn't be caught yet. It wouldn't be until the next day, once a bunch of cloth was crafted and the run back down from base that would see the Melpaca's getting caught.
Overall the progress while slow early on like it has been, with not being established yet, it has grown quick quickly in a short amount of time since with how many Pals 477 has caught and how much the base is growing.
A Foxparks was caught and then numerous fights broke out, a raid with a group of Pals coming for base happened which was a pretty epic thing to experience and the Daedream's level with the spear hits were enough to sort out this mob with ease!
This led to a Leezpunk being caught from the raid mob to add to the collection as well.
