I have a problem... I have a decision to make and it might make me the bad guy...

It all started years ago. My husband was dating a girl, lets call her Cheri (not her real name). Theuvhad broken up over her causing drama every time they went out and my hubby was over it. Because he is a nice guy he stayed friends with her. During the time they broke up, we started talking. Now she tried getting back together with him at the point where we started liking each other. Because of distance we didn't want to start a relationship and he tried giving it another shot but he couldn't go through with it so he stayed friends after that...

Skip ahead to the time he moved across country for me... so he told me he had two close female friends, wanting to get to know them I started talking to them. Cheri was one of the two. After she found out my hubby was seeing another girl, she started flirting with him. It was innocent at first but then it wasn't. He told her to stop and she never did. So he stopped talking to her. At that point I really started to not like her. Then we moved back to where he came from... the moment she found out he was back she started messaging him again, trying to make plans for just the two of them to go out. It didn't matter that he told her he moved in with me and that he would only agree to see her if I can come along. She would just never make plans with him if I would be there and always tried to get him alone. He never went to see her because of that. The moment we got engaged she got the hint and stopped talking to him... that was a year ago.

In the mean time my hubby's best friend started dating a girl (Carrie is her name )who we didn't know was friends with Cheri. Carrie invited us to her birthday party this weekend. Last night my hubby's best friend dropped the shell that Cheri might go to the party as well.

Here is where the dilemma for the weekend comes in. My hubby wants me to choose if we are going or not. I don't trust Cheri but I do truat my hubby. I also do not want to be rude to my hubby's best friend or his girlfriend. If I say no, i might be a bad guy. If I say yes, I'm in for a night full of awkwardness and probably being treated badly by Cheri. (Any woman rude enough to flirt with another womans man has no class)

It might sound like jealousy but it's not. My hubby's other female friend admitted to me off the bat that she use to be interested in him. She was honest and respectful of me as his girlfriend and now wife. I have no issue with the two of them going out alone because I trust both of them.

What should I do? Help!
