Once again, it was a very nice morning. We slept very well with the help of the ventilator that we brought to our room. We were again full of energy and decided to explore more. This time we took our camping equipment with us to stay more relaxed and in case we find some cool spot on the way.
Like the previous day, we first headed to Bovec and from there we picked the road to Italy. This time we went to Predil pass (1156 m). On the way we passed the fortress which looked pretty cool. Shortly after crossing the border, we arrived at the Predil lake (Lago di Predile). It took us a long time to find a place to park the car. Even tho there were lots of cars, the beach around the lake was pretty empty, so we easily find a nice place for us in the shadows. There we took time for swimming, sports like workout and yoga. We were surrounded by gorgeous nature, the most impressive was Cinque Punte which you cannot unsee.
We didn't realize it was already getting late, and we still haven't eaten our lunch. It was the clouds in front of the sun which made us double-check the weather prediction for the night. The weather app said it will rain in one hour and also the night was not looking any better.
We stopped with cutting the onions and tomatoes and decide to go back to the car and find a better place to be protected from the rain and the lightning. After a short while on the other side of the lake we found a nice picnic place where we continued with outdoor masterclass kitchen. After the first round of food and drone safely landing, the rain has started. Slowly, all the people got scared by the rain and left.
Luckily, we already spotted before the place for tonight. It was an empty super small tower with a bridge connecting to the land. The small house was looking very scary from the inside, because half of the floor was missing, and we didn't even look what is beneath us. With the help of the headlight, we continued the next cooking session up to the night. After we enjoyed the meal, we prepared the place as much as possible for the night.
By the way, suddenly, during the dinner, we had a small guest coming into our shelter. Tamara started panicking that there was something moving, maybe a mouse. After the spotlight from the headlight, a huge, gigantic mouse was turning into the dormouse. Realizing that, we went to sleep much more relaxed.
Once we switched off the lights, the rain and the storm began. The lighting was crazy and lasted up till the morning hours. Luckily we didn't get wet, because the place was chosen quite well.
Waking up into the foggy morning and mystical view on the lake. The weather then changed very fast and the sun quickly came out again.

On the internet, we found a pretty cool story about the creation of the lake. Since we were able to visit the secret island because of so low water level, we can confirm that some house ruins are there.
The story follows:
“Once upon a time, in the place where the lake lies, there was a nice verdant valley with a populated and rich town. But the inhabitants were insensitive and hardhearted. In a dark and cold winter night, while the people were safe in their warm homes, a young woman carrying her little son arrived in the town begging in vain for a shelter. Only after long wandering, she was welcomed warmly by a humble family. In the night a storm, earthquakes and rain hit the town, creating the Predil lake and sparing only the small house where the merciful family lived. The woman and her child (the Virgin and the Holy Child) had disappeared.
